Senior IT Application Consultant (SAP GRC) (m/f/d)

As a Senior IT Application Specialist (SAP GRC), you will take ownership of key IT systems, providing expert support, driving improvements, and mentoring team members. You’ll collaborate across departments to translate business needs into smart, scalable IT solutions that enhance efficiency and user satisfaction.

Key responsibilities

• Analyse and improve business processes to enhance performance and efficiency
• Provide expert consulting on IT applications (mainly SAP systems)
• Configure, program, and optimize IT solutions in alignment with business goals
• Troubleshoot complex issues and ensure smooth application operations
• Manage DevOps practices and support IT architecture design
• Oversee the financial aspects of IT projects and ensure cost-effective outcomes
• Mentor junior team members and promote continuous learning
• Create documentation, deliver trainings, and communicate solutions clearly to stakeholders

Your profile:

• Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related technical field
• Minimum 5 years of experience in IT applications or similar roles (3 years in a comparable position)
• Strong knowledge of SAP ERP, SAP GRC, SAP SolMan, and related tools
• Experience in IT architecture, system configuration, and DevOps practices
• Excellent analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills
• Cooperative, reliable, and flexible team player with a proactive mindset
• Fluency in English (German is an advantage)
• Willingness to travel up to 20%
