Technical Engineer

Position Overview:

The successful candidate should possess experience in energy management, with a strong understanding of technical systems in industrial settings. We are seeking a dedicated professional with problem-solving and communication skills who can thrive in a fast-paced, high-demand environment.

Key responsibilities:

• Ensure the smooth operation of energy systems and equipment within the plant.
• Monitor and optimize energy consumption to improve efficiency and reduce costs.
• Conduct regular maintenance and troubleshooting of energy-related systems.
• Analyze energy usage data and provide reports on performance, identifying potential improvements.
• Participate in the development and implementation of energy-saving projects.
• Collaborate with the engineering team to ensure energy systems are aligned with production requirements.
• Provide technical support to other departments in energy-related matters.
• Ensure compliance with industry standards and safety regulations related to energy use.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Energy Management, or a related field.
• 5+ years of experience in energy management or technical engineering, preferably in the industrial or glass manufacturing sector.
• Strong knowledge of energy systems and equipment used in manufacturing.
• Proficiency in energy optimization techniques and tools.
• Familiarity with energy regulations and sustainability practices.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent communication skills in Russian, Romanian and English.
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Master’s degree in a relevant field.
• Experience in the glass production industry or a similar industrial setting.
• Knowledge of energy management software and tools.
• Certifications in energy management or related fields.
• Experience with project management and process improvement initiatives.
