Senior Accountant

We are excited to announce a job opening for the position of Senior Accountant at Vetropack, an international Swiss company specializing in the glass manufacturing industry.

Position Overview:

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Senior Accountant to join our Finance team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong work ethic, excellent attention to detail, and a positive attitude towards their work.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform accounting tasks related to the maintenance and efficient processing of payment account transactions.
• Provide operational support for supplier accounting activities and manage administrative obligations.
• Handle recording of internal and external invoices, payments, credit/debit notes, expense reports, and VAT tax obligations.
• Oversee month-end and year-end closing processes, ensuring accuracy and compliance with accounting standards.
• Collaborate with external auditors during audits, ensuring that all required documentation and financial statements are accurate and up-to-date.
• Prepare and review audit schedules, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations and standards.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance.
• 5+ years of accounting experience.
• Experience with SAP is a plus.
• Strong experience in organizing and analyzing large volumes of data.
• High proficiency in Microsoft Office suite.
• Excellent attention to detail.
• Analytical mindset with strong problem-solving abilities.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Friendly and professional approach with internal and external stakeholders.
