Lead Energy Engineer

Position Overview:

We are seeking a highly skilled and proactive Lead Energy Engineer to manage and optimize energy processes at our production facilities. The ideal candidate will possess extensive technical expertise in energy systems, and will also demonstrate strong leadership qualities. Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and optimize energy management systems, ensuring efficient use of resources and adherence to sustainability practices.
  • Supervise and maintain transformers with a capacity of 110 kW or more, ensuring their effective operation and compliance with safety standards.
  • Oversee energy consumption, analyze energy efficiency data, and recommend improvements for reducing costs and increasing operational efficiency.
  • Manage energy-related projects, from planning through to implementation, ensuring all objectives are met on time and within budget.
  • Provide technical leadership and guidance to the production & technology teams, fostering collaboration and continuous improvement.
  • Ensure compliance with regulations and internal policies, coordinating with relevant departments to align energy strategies with production goals.
  • Implement preventive and corrective maintenance procedures for energy systems, ensuring minimal downtime.
  • Develop and deliver reports on energy performance, identifying areas for improvement and providing actionable recommendations to management.
  • Support the implementation of energy-saving initiatives and sustainable practices in line with corporate objectives.

 

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Energy Management, or a related field.
  • At least 5 years of experience in energy engineering or a similar role, with direct experience working in companies operating their own transformers of 110 kW or higher.
  • Proven leadership skills with the ability to effectively manage and motivate a team.
  • Strong knowledge of energy management systems, electrical systems, and high-voltage equipment.
  • Experience with energy efficiency improvements and cost-saving initiatives.
  • Ability to analyze complex technical data and provide actionable recommendations.
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to interact effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • A proactive, solutions-driven approach and the ability to adapt to evolving energy management challenges.
