We are excited to announce a job opening for the position of Financial Controller at Vetropack Chisinau, a leading producer of glass packaging for the food and beverage industries. Position Overview:

The successful candidate should possess experience in financial planning and analysis (FP&A), strong knowledge of financial systems and tools, as well as excellent problem-solving and communication skills. We are looking for a dedicated professional who is passionate about the production and can thrive in a fast-paced environment.

Key responsibilities:

• Ensure full control over overheads spending, including the functional support in budgets’ preparation, actuals analysis.
• Participate in preparation of the monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements, including income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements for the unit.
• Develop and maintain financial models for budgeting, forecasting, and analysis.
• Analyze financial performance and key metrics, identifying trends and variances versus budgeted scenarios for major lines of the financial statements.
• Prepare ad-hoc insightful management reports and presentations, highlighting key findings and recommendations.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather and analyze financial data. 
• Support Senior Finance Controller in the daily tasks related to the cooperation with other functions.
• Support ad-hoc financial analysis and projects as needed.
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of financial reporting processes.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field.
• 2 - 5 years of experience in financial analysis, reporting, or accounting.
• Strong understanding of local accounting standards and IFRS, Swiss GAP is a plus.
• Proficiency in financial analysis techniques, including ratio analysis, forecasting, and budgeting.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills and experience with financial reporting software (SAP is a plus).
• Fluent in Romanian and English, both written and spoken.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Detail-oriented with a high level of accuracy.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Master's degree in a relevant field.
• Industry experience relevant to the company's sector.
• Experience with data visualization tools (e.g. Power BI).
• Professional certifications such as ACCA, CFA, or CIMA.
